Less taxes, more togetherness.

The Corona crisis is a tough challenge for all of us - personally, economically, but also in terms of health. The lack of social contacts, increasing isolation and lack of daily structures are a particular burden on people suffering from depression. Treatment appointments and hospital stays often have to be cancelled.

When the value added tax was reduced to 16% last year, we decided not to adjust our prices and to donate a part of our online sales to the Stiftung Deutsche Depressionshilfe.

This results in a donation amount of 12.386,64 €.

Making a difference together - now more than ever.

Already before Corona, depression was one of the most common diseases in Germany. Those suffering from depressions perceive negative things in life more pessimistically than usual and therefore face great challenges due to the fears and difficulties that the COVID-19 crisis brings upon us. The Stiftung Deutsche Depressionshilfe (German Depression Aid Foundation) provides persons affected with direct support through the spread of information and access to a variety of digital services.

You can find out more about the important work of Deutsche Depressionshilfe here.

Additionally, the foundation offers advice to doctors and psychologists on the best way to treat the disease and, together with the Forschungszentrum Depression (Depression Research Centre), they support and encourage independent research activities in the field.

We are aware that tax reductions serve to stimulate the economy. At the same time, helping those affected is particularly important right now. We believe that we can make more of a difference with a large donation to the Stiftung Deutsche Depressionshilfe (German Depression Aid Foundation) than with a minimal price reduction in the FLSK Online Shop.
